Project Engineer

Group Roussel with headquarters in Menen is a Belgian anchored family-owned business group active as a producer and supplier of building materials in niche markets of the construction sector.

Its subsidiary Connecton Fasteners is a Belgian market leader in roof and façade fixing and a leading supplier to construction distributors in 27 countries. As part of the strategic growth and expansion of our product range, we are looking for a:

PROJECT ENGINEER

In this new position, you will become a pivotal figure in the development of our internal research department to optimise our services. Within the new product range of lintels and façade anchors you will be responsible (in close cooperation with sales) for:

advising architects, building owners or tradesmen
analysis of building plans
technical calculations of loads on the façade
Preparation of advisory reports, including type of façade supports, method, etc.
Preparation of specialised quotations

In time, we foresee further growth opportunities within the group based on your
interests and expertise.

REQUIREMENTS:

You have an architecture major.
You have strong analytical skills.
You are fluent in communication and enjoy working with various stakeholders.
You have experience working for a construction company or in an architectural office.
You have the ambition to further develop a crucial expertise role and service.
